And so it beings...

Early morning start with the ever delightful Princess Shiny Bright collecting me for the ride to the airport at 6a.m. At the airport was able to confirm that my luggage is booked all the way through to Heathrow, so that is a bonus, however my feelings were somewhat hurt when they placed a "Heavy" tag on my suitcase, and I haven't even done any shopping yet!!!
Having scored a Business Class upgrade for the Sydney to Hong Kong leg I was very pleasantly surprised to be told that I was also on Business class on the Adelaide to Sydney leg.  Seat 2 A is now my preferred seat domestic! Smooth flight into Sydney and then a short bus trip to the international terminal.  Once again that magic term "Business Class' has so many advantages as I was able to go through the Express Immigration line.  Then after the compulsory duty free shop for alcohol (a couple of bottles of Jamesons never goes astray) it was off to the Qantas Business Class lounge for a rfeshen up and so here I am now penning these few lines to you whilst I enjoy a cheeky little Sav Blanc (only the one) as I don't want to appear greedy!!! Not sure what I'll have to eat as there are so many choices.  Maybe I'll just have a little bit of lots of things.
" My girl" will give me a call when it is time for me to board my flight so I had better dive into that food buffet and get my boarding pass ready for seat 18A - did I happen to mention that I am travelling Business Class this leg???
