Cant believe the day has finally arrived! It's time to dust off the passport, wipe down the suitcase and see if any of my clothes that are suitable for travel will still fit me! Julie and I are off to Morocco, with a few more countries to follow. Our initially booked Insight tour was cancelled so we have opted for a private tour which is very much an unknown at this stage, re quality and inclusions. I keep hearing in my head the Bob Hope, Bing Crosby song from the movie Road to Morocco. With Julie in tow, there are likely to be just as many zany antics occurring. I have registered with Smart Traveller so our government knows where we will be if bail money is required at any time! Not sure how much internet access will be available, but Im being optimistic at this early stage. Hope you enjoy this tour with us, sit back, relax and think of us tonight as we sit in the International lounge at the airport (Business Class ofcourse...) as we await our Qatar flight to Doha (13 hrs 45 mins) and then the connecting flight to Casablanca (7 hrs 55mins). Just as well I fortified myself with a big lunch, having cleaned out the fridge. I had prawns washed down with home made Bailey's... And with that my fellow armchair travellers I shall leave you for now, cos it's time to get myself travel ready.
