Tuesday, and yet another day at sea.

A fair bit of rock and roll off the ship this morning so hoping my sea legs don't give way! Breakfast in the cabin again as neither of us want a hot breakfast and this way we can get our cereal and yoghurt delivered to the cabin without having to be up and dressed and out mixing with the masses. I'm a bit over the days at sea as the daily programme appears to be full of things to do,but not really of interest to me. Looking forward to getting to Auckland, that's for sure.
We spent the day wandering about, having coffees and then lunch. Time for a quiz and I tried a cocktail that had more ice in it than anything else. Time for lunch and we headed off to the international dining room which is the main dining room unless you choose to do to the buffet (think Coles cafeteria and filled with wombles). Lovely lunch with good company. I had the calamari followed by beef and broccoli. Headed off to the Explorer lounge for the quiz. Lots of weird questions so we didn't actually shine, but maybe tomorrow.
So then at our next sit down where we snagged a seat, I ordered a London Lemonade which is gin, Cointreau and sweet and sour. Liked it so much I had a second.
Chatted with people nearby and then time to head back to the cabin to get ready for dinner. We are losing an hour most days at the moment and that suits me fine as the Sea days have become boring and not nearly enough of interest for me. Dinner in the Santa Fe restaurant tonight. Lovely spinach entree followed by a penne pasta that was lovely.
We went and watched couples doing sequenced ballroom dancing. Then it was time for the country and Western trivia quiz. Perhaps not unsurprisingly, zi did well, but although I knew lots of the song names,I couldn't remember all the singers but it was fun and a bit of a laugh. Time to head to the Wheelhouse bar to listen to live music. Meet up with Julie's friends again. I knew I had seen the fellow before and it transpires he is in Rotary and knows lots of the same people I do in my Rotary Club. Rae was having a nightcap that looked so good I had one too. Am now quit a fan of the Alaskan Chocolate Mudslide.
Time for bed as we lose another hour tonight as we get closer to NZ.
