Another day at sea

Certainly got rocky overnight but either the meds are working or I've got my sea legs. Breakfast in the cabin again and then a wander around the ship looking for somewhere to sit and have coffee but there are very few seats anywhere in general areas and many of the oldies take up a position early in the morning and I'm sure don't move till they go to bed! Went for a lovely lunch and then decided to go to one of the craft sessions to make a friendship bracelet. What a joke that was!

I then took myself off to a quiz session and the 3 others at my table knew even less than me and so we didn't do at all well, but had a laugh anyway. Julie went for an early dinner but anything before 6 is way too early for me so I opted for a later dinner in the Pacific Moon restaurant and had a lovely meal with 5 other people I hadn't met before. Crab cake and then beef tenderloins cooked to perfection. I then headed to an Abba trivia session. Initially I was sitting on my own, but a couple I had met a couple of days ago called me over to sit with them, so we had lots of fun playing Abba trivia getting extra points for lots of silly things. Then I headed off to see the evening show which was okay, but just okay. Back to see the karaoke performances, and who is belting out a tune, but Karen from Adelaide! The only way I was going to be able to sit through that was with fortification so I ordered a dirty martini.

As we lose another hour tonight, it is well and truly time to head back to the cabin, so it's lights out for me after a very pleasant day of doing nothing.
